On Safari In South Luangwa National Park, Zambia
The Lion’s Den! Photographing The Lion Pride of South Luangwa National Park
It’s not everyday you get to spend time with a pride of lions in their own environment.
During a recent trip to Zambia’s South Luangwa national park i had the privilege of seeing these amazing animals up close in their natural habitat.
Having the Canon R5 and RF400 f2.8 at my side made the experience so much better.
Also, using the Insta 360 camera to capture the world around us for those incredible moments.
Elephant Encounter In South Luangwa With The Canon R System
Our second day was all about the Elephants that roam across the 9,000kmĀ² South Luangwa National Park. Once hunted to the brink of their existence, they have since thrived after new poaching laws were introduced.
It is now estimated that over 27,000 elephants roam free within Zambia, with a large population residing within South Luangwa NP.
Feeding Time With The Lion Pride of South Luangwa
On the morning of our third day we received some information that the Lion Pride had taken down a Zebra during their early morning hunt. We therefore set out to see if we could find them, and to see how much of the poor Zebra they had devoured.
The 6K 360 video footage was created using the Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition.
