The Best Lenses To Take On Your Safari Trip?

The Best Lenses To Take On Your Safari Trip?

If you’re thinking about going on safari then there’s a quite a lot you’ll need to consider when deciding on what camera gear to take with you.

In this video I’d like to try and help you decide which lenses to buy for your safari trip. Just to give you an idea of my experiences, I’ve been to the Serengeti and Masai Mara, Nogorongoro Crater, Nyerere, Kruger Park, Etosha, Chobe, Okavango, Amboseli, South Luangwa, Tsavo East and West, Yala National Park in Sri Lanka and I’ve even taken a huge 400mm prime lens gorilla trekking in Rwanda.

There’s so many different formats such as Micro four thirds, APSC and full frame and even compact and bridge cameras are perfectly good enough for some situations. Even your phone camera will take decent enough photos.

But if your safari trip is a once in a lifetime vacation then you may want to take those photo opportunities more seriously and invest in good quality camera equipment.
